Nationally recognized music industry executives and professional musicians will be on hand for the fifth annual Music Industry Conference (MIC) at Lebanon Valley College. The conference, titled LVC-MIC, will run all day on Saturday, Nov. 21, beginning at 8 a.m. in LVC's Blair Music Center. Admission to the conference is open to the public. A bag lunch is included. High school students may attend for free courtesy of the College's Admission Office.

Conference goers will be able to observe panel discussions and workshops on multiple aspects of the music industry, including record labels, music publishing, songwriting, recording, and more. There will also be raffles featuring music items as well as displays.
Panelists will include:
--Adam Kowalczyk a rhythm guitarist with LIVE, an alternative rock/post-grunge band from York, Pa.
--Paula Savastano, owner of Savastano, Schmehl & Associates, Philadelphia, whose knowledge regarding audits and copyright issues is sought after by publishers and record companies;
--Morgan Stambaugh, a 2008 LVC graduate with degrees in music and music recording technology, who is now a recording engineer for Anderson Audio of Harrisburg, a premier audio vendor founded by Chris Anderson ’95, providing professional audio design, consultation, and installation across the United States and abroad; Anderson Audio provided the sound system and crew for the PBS specials: In Performance at the White House, Kennedy Center Honors, and An American Celebration at Ford’s Theater;
--Matt Edgecombe, a 2001 LVC graduate in music recording technology, who is now the recording engineer at Whitaker Center, Harrisburg, and manages all of the sound, stage, and lighting for shows ranging from major music artists to Broadway plays;
--John T. Robertson Jr., Esq., currently CEO/founder of Powerhouse Entertainment Group, LLC, based in New York, and involved in recorded music, production, music publishing, artist management, film production/distribution, and merchandising; Case is also owner/executive producer of Grammy-award-winning independent record label, Libertad/Universal Records, a multi-media record/music publishing/film company;
--Marc T. Levin, Rhoads and Sinon LLP, Harrisburg, who represents and counsels clients in the music industry on a variety of legal and business matters; he is a part-time musician himself;
--Christopher J. Cabott, Esq., an entertainment attorney and certified National Football League Players Association contract advisor with the Law Office of Lloyd Z. Remick and Zane Management, Inc., Philadelphia;
--Nan Warshaw, president of Bloodshot Records, an independent record label based in Chicago that specializes in roots-inflected indie rock;
--Pam Baldwin, marketing associate of MVD Entertainment Group in the greater Philadelphia area;
--Larry Ahearn, a former booker, promoter, and producer of music, sports, and theater, most notably with the worldwide Concerts For Human Rights tour with Bruce Springsteen, Sting, et. al., he now has returned to his first love: writing and performing songs.
