What We Look for Academically
Transfer students are welcome at Lebanon Valley College and may begin their studies in either the fall or spring semester. Offers of admission are made on a competitive basis due to limited space. The minimum cumulative grade point average for transfer students is 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Community college students should be enrolled in transferable programs rather than terminal programs.

All candidates are encouraged to visit campus for a personal interview and tour. It is helpful to bring unofficial copies of your academic transcripts to your interview. HACC Transfer Students
There are two resources to help ease the transfer process for both full-time and part-time transfer students from Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) to Lebanon Valley College (LVC). The HACC Transfer Services web page has Curricula Checksheets (please select "Lebanon Valley College" from the drop down menu) for specific LVC majors as well as a Course Equivalency list. These documents will help you plan for transferring to LVC.
The Dual Admission Program teams Harrisburg Area Community College and Lebanon Valley College in a program that will lead students to a bachelor's degree. Dual Admission brochures and applications are available in the LVC Admission Office as well as the Transfer Center at HACC. Request a brochure by calling 1-866-LVC-4ADM (1-866-582-4236) or e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Part-time Transfer Students
Lebanon Valley College also welcomes transfer students seeking part-time enrollment (less than 12 credits). We invite these students to visit the Office of Graduate and Professional Studies for information about part-time admission, or call 717-867-6213 or email email@example.com.
