The Biology Club strives to increase awareness of and interest in the biological sciences. The activities of the club include faculty lectures, guest speakers, field trips, and informal social gatherings. The club is student oriented, organized and operated and is open to anyone.
Beta Beta Beta
Beta Beta Beta, a National Biological Honor Society, is open to majors in the biological sciences. Membership is by invitation. To become a member one must have completed 3 courses in Biology and maintained an average 3.0 in Biology and a 3.0 overall. Beta Beta Beta hosts various speakers and panels. Members of Beta Beta Beta present topics of their own independent research at annual district meetings. The group also hosts a banquet in the spring.
