Admission Information
Applicants to Lebanon Valley College intending to major in elementary education will be evaluated for both admission to the college and to the major. The major is competitive for two reasons:
- The PA Department of Education mandates that students must meet required GPA and Praxis test scores.
- Interest in programs exceeds class size limitations.
Admission decisions will be based primarily on thorough review of academic credentials. Individual interviews, recommendations, and experience in teaching situations are factors also considered. Transfer students are encouraged to arrange an interview to discuss time line and requirements for satisfying the major requirements.
Questions should be directed to the Office of Admission at 1-866-LVC-4ADM (toll free) or 717-867-6181.
