Scholarships for Transfer Students
Lebanon Valley College is pleased to offer the following scholarships to students transferring from two- and four-year colleges and universities:
Academic Recognition Scholarship - All students completing a two-year transfer program or completing their associate degree and achieving membership in Phi Theta Kappa will receive a one-half tuition scholarship. This award is renewable and may be held for a maximum of five semesters. Students must maintain full-time enrollment at LVC, make Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), and remain in good social standing.
Presidential Scholarships - Students transferring 16 or more credits to LVC will be considered for scholarships based on their college GPA, number of credits eligible for transfer, strength of academic program, and major field of study. Scholarships will range from one-quarter to one-half tuition and are renewable for a pre-determined number of semesters. Students must maintain full-time enrollment at LVC, make Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), and remain in good social standing.
Students transferring 15 or fewer credits to LVC will be considered for scholarships on the same basis as high school seniors. A student who has previously attended LVC as a full-time student and has withdrawn is not eligible for a transfer scholarship.
Financial need is not a consideration for any of these scholarships. However, additional financial aid is available to those who qualify for need-based assistance. Students may receive an Academic Recognition Scholarship or a Presidential Scholarship, but not both.
