Leadership Development Educators

Leadership Development Assistants are upper-class students who are employed to provide assist with various aspects of the Leadership Institute.

 Meet out current Leadership Development Assistant:

Ashley Smith ’13

Ashley Smith is a senior music and psychology major. She is a member of student government, psi chi, and a peer mentor through the office of Counseling Services. She is also active in multiple performance groups on campus including the Pride of the Valley marching band, jazz band, choir, and chamber choir. Her hobbies include traveling that led her to a study abroad experience in Italy. She works as a leadership development assistant because she believes in the program and its ability to allow students to discover themselves as leaders as well as provide them with an edge for their future endeavors.
