October 7, 7 p.m., Chapel 101, Stephen Bardo, Point Guard Vision

Bardo a former NBA player with the San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks and Detroit Pistons, and a broadcast analyst for ESPN, CBS Sports, Fox 1 Sports and The Big Ten Network. He is also the author of How to Make the League Without Picking Up the Rock as well as a motivational speaker who discusses leadership and overcoming adversity.

Bardo tours the country speaking about leadership, never giving up on dreams, and how to set and reach goals. In his Point Guard Vision presentation, Bardo will discuss:

§  Beginning to “see” your opportunities

§  Understanding the currency of business

§  Becoming resilient

§  Recognizing problem or opportunity

 

October 21, 7 p.m., Chapel 101, David Garibaldi, Rhythm and Hue  

 

Garibaldi is a motivational speaker and performance artist who was a finalist on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. He is also a philanthropist who donated his first million dollars to charity before turning 30. He performs worldwide to honor leaders, local heroes and historic icons.

 

In his Rhythm & Hue presentation, Garibaldi will discuss:

·         The importance of education

·         Following your dreams

·         Turning your dreams into reality

·         Doing what you love to achieve success


November 4, 7 p.m., Chapel 101, Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, A Path Appears: Transforming Lives, Creating Opportunity

Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn are Pulitzer Prize winning authors, New York Times #1 Best-Sellers and activists. Their previous book Half the Sky inspired a worldwide movement and a PBS special. Their upcoming book A Path Appears focuses on people who are making the world a better place, and is the basis of a four hour PBS series airing January 2015. Kristof was also the subject of the documentary Reporter, produced by Ben Affleck.

In their A Path Appears: Transforming Lives, Creating Opportunity presentation, Kristof and WuDunn will discuss:

·         Combating global issues in new ways
