Borrowing Policies
LVC Students and ACLCP Students:
- Students must present their current school ID to check out materials.
- Privileges expire every semester.
- ACLCP students may check out materials immediately.
Community/Alumni:

Community patrons must be residents of Lebanon County or reside in the 170- ZIP code. After the application is submitted, a library card will be mailed to the new community member. Items may not be checked out until members have received their library card.
- Community users may not check out CDs, DVDs, or videocassettes.
- An LVC alumna or alumnus who applies for library privileges between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, may be able to check out materials immediately. Otherwise, the application will be processed as soon as possible. Proof that you are an alumna or alumnus of LVC will help expedite the process.
Checkout Period:

Check out period for books is 4 weeks. Books may be renewed in person or by telephone.
- Reference material, videos and periodicals do not circulate.
Fines and Charges:
- Fines are $ .25 a day per item with the exception of videos and DVDS which are $1.00 a day per item.
- There is a maximum fine of $10.00 per item.
- Borrowing privileges will be suspended for abuse of library rules.
- The library has two Sharp copiers with coin-ops, and three microfilm reader/printers available. The charge is $ .10 a page for all machines.
Interlibrary Loan services are available to the Lebanon Valley College Campus Community only.
Lebanon County residents may use the Interlibrary Loan services offered by the local public libraries.
