Reserves

Reserve materials are books, journal articles or tapes which are required reading/listening for a specific college course. Because of heavy use, these materials have been removed from their regular locations in the library and have been placed on special shelves at the circulation desk.

Requesting Reserve Material

  • Ask for reserve material at the circulation desk.
  • You need to tell us the professor's name or course number, and the title of the book or journal article on reserve.
  • ID is required to check out reserve material.

In-Library Use Only

Until closing, most reserve materials must be used in the library.

Borrowing Reserve Material

Some reserve books circulate overnight. Overnight reserves may leave two hours before closing.
