Additional Admission Requirements

Applicants to Lebanon Valley College must have at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and have completed a minimum of three years of managerial or professional work experience. Students with less experience, but a very strong undergraduate record may be considered.

The following application materials must be received in order for an application to be submitted. They may be mailed, emailed, or faxed to The MBA Program, 101 N. College Avenue Annville, Pa. 17003, graduate-studies@lvc.edu, Fax: 717-867-6018.

• A $30 non-refundable application fee, made out to Lebanon Valley College, mailed to the MBA Program. This fee is waived for LVC alumni and applicants from the military
• An official transcript from each college, university, or professional school attended. Official transcripts should be signed and sealed by the issuing school and sent to the MBA office.
• A personal statement about how you will benefit from and contribute to the program.
• A current professional resume.
• Two letters of professional recommendation.

Each applicant will also need to schedule a personal interview with the MBA Program Director (please call 717 867-6213 to make an appointment).

Prerequisite Coursework - Students who have not completed an undergraduate course in either accounting or finance may receive conditional acceptance to the program. These prerequisites must be completed prior to taking MBA 805, MBA 840, MBA 895 (and MBA 803 and 804 for the healthcare concentration). Students must also be proficient using EXCEL spreadsheets for modeling LVC offers both prerequisites, along with optional courses in business math and spreadsheet modeling, in a non-credit, online, self-paced format. They are offered each semester and may be taken along with other MBA courses. Please call 717-867-6213 for information on these modules.

Work Experience and Optional GMAT Scores
LVC recognizes work experience and prior academic success, therefore, reporting GMAT scores to LVC is optional with either the documentation of at least three years of substantial managerial level or professional experience or for those holding a master’s or doctoral degree. Applicants with an undergraduate GPA of less than 3.0 may opt to supplement their application by submitting a GMAT score.
