Native American Heritage Month Events

Lebanon Valley College celebrates Native American Heritage Month in November with a variety of cultural exhibits, lectures, and dining options to learn about the first Americans. The celebration is sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs.

Native American Heritage Month was officially proclaimed by President George H.W. Bush in 1994. It started at the turn of the century as an effort to gain a day of recognition for the significant contributions the first Americans made to the establishment and growth of the U.S., and has grown into an entire month being designated for that purpose.

Information about 2014 programming will be announced later this year.
