Notice of Multicultural Achievement

Purpose of the Award:
In 2007, the Office of Multicultural Affairs launched a new initiative, appropriately titled, Notice of Multicultural Achievement (NOMA).

The purpose of the NOMA is to recognize individuals who build, serve, represent, or enhance diversity and social justice both on and off campus. In addition to a letter, recipients will be listed on a bulletin board located in Mund, and will receive a diversity quote card.

NOMA of the Year awards are given to the individual student, faculty or staff member and organization who receive the most nominations in a single calendar year.

2009 NOMA of the Year Award Recipients:

• Student NOMA of the Year: Shelly Burkholder
• Faculty/Staff NOMA of the Year: Chaplain Fullmer
