The Valley Fund

Gifts to The Valley Fund provide immediate funds for the greatest areas of need for the College. The Valley Fund directly supports services and opportunities that students depend on daily—generous scholarships, inspiring faculty, and enriching educational resources and programs.

As a private college, LVC relies primarily on tuition for its operating funds. However, tuition and fees charged by the College only cover 80 percent of what it actually costs to provide a Valley education. The Valley Fund helps bridge the gap. Your gift to The Valley Fund supports the LVC experience for our students.

Annual Scholarships
Annual Scholarships are an opportunity to make a yearly gift to the College and have an immediate impact on a deserving student. Annual Scholarships help to make a Lebanon Valley College education accessible, ease the loan burden on our students, and sustain our scholarship program.

With a commitment of $2,500 or more per year for at least a four-year period, a donor has the opportunity to name the scholarship and specify the recipient criteria including major, GPA, class year, and/or other considerations.

President's Innovation Fund
Your support of the President's Innovation Fund provides additional resources for interdisciplinary, innovative, collaborative, and entrepreneurial approaches to teaching.

High-Impact Experience Fund
Your investment in high-impact experiences underwrites activities that deepen student learning and engagement. These transformative experiences include study abroad, undergraduate research, service learning, and professional internships.

The 150th Anniversary Fund
2016 will mark the celebration of Lebanon Valley College’s Sesquicentennial. Founded in 1866, the College continues to deliver a transformative education built on the liberal arts.

Gifts to the 150th Anniversary Fund will help to support the celebration of 150 years of student success at LVC. A variety of events representing academic, cultural, and social components of campus will be woven into the academic year to engage Lebanon Valley College alumni, students, parents, and friends.
