Support for Academic Programs

At the very heart of Lebanon Valley College is its academic program. Support for these programs allows our students to discover new worlds by studying abroad, test new theories through undergraduate research, and attract and retain excellent new faculty members. Support for academic programs includes, but is certainly not limited to, the following options:

Endowed Faculty Chairs and Professorships

Endowing faculty positions within academic departments is one of the College’s highest priorities. These funds provide perpetual support for a specific faculty position. Donors may establish a professorship and then build it up over time to support the endowed chair level.

Faculty-Student Research

A faculty-student research endowment provides funding to assist and encourage faculty to develop research projects within their discipline and to work collaboratively on those projects with their students.

Study Abroad Endowment

A gift to off-campus programs at LVC will provide support for the extra expenses students incur when they take the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study abroad.

Endowed Lectureships

An endowed lectureship enhances the educational experience by bringing interesting and influential speakers, practitioners and scholars to campus.
