Are you struggling with a paper or need help in a tough class?
The Writing Center is here to help!
In just a few short years, the Writing Center, located in the lower level of the Bishop Library, has become a positive force on the Lebanon Valley College campus. We are about people helping people. On a daily basis during the academic year we listen, attempt to define the problem, and aid in facilitating a possible solution, thus diminishing the client's anxiety without diminishing the client's independence in either the learning or writing process.
Each semester, the Writing Center is open for a fixed number of hours during which students can come by at their convenience or by appointment to work with writing tutors on duty at that time. A student may also contact us by email at email@example.com or by phone at 867-6790 to set up an appointment to meet with a tutor during those desk hours.
The mission of the Lebanon Valley College Writing Center is to provide our clients with the tools, the techniques, and the confidence necessary to become successful communicators and writers. We do this by creating a comfortable environment in which clients and tutors work together at improving writing and thinking across the curriculum.
Monday-Thursday, 6-9 p.m.
Appointments are strongly encouraged, but not necessary.
For an appointment during off hours please call 867-6790 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org, 48 hours in advance.
If you have any questions or comments regarding the Lebanon Valley College Writing Center, please contact us by phone, email, or drop by during desk hours. A tutor appointment can also be made online.
