Alice Rulapaugh
Senior Assistant for Student Affairs
Having grown up just a few blocks from Lebanon Valley College, Alice fondly remembers spending her formative years on campus. Attending the Spring Arts Festival (now called ValleyFest) and the College’s many plays, concerts, and art exhibits, she was familiar with the campus and the community. During high school, Alice took advantage of having a College library a short walk away, further deepening that connection.
Alice pursued a passion for teaching and attended college to become an English teacher. She spent the early part of her career working with middle and high school students. Although she enjoyed teaching, when the opportunity arose to work with LVC students, she jumped at the chance. Since 2006, Alice has worked in the student affairs office.
The most fulfilling part of Alice’s job is forming connections with the students outside the classroom as they experience the College’s co-curricular aspects. She enjoys learning about the path that led a student to LVC and witnessing their personal growth during their time on campus.
Alice likes to unwind in nature. She enjoys the outdoors, particularly hiking with her husband, Charlie. She also likes to hit the beach anytime and values her time with her family.
