Megan Streisel
Director of Nursing Clinical Education
Megan Streisel has been a certified and licensed athletic trainer since 2012. Hired by LVC as an assistant athletic trainer in 2013, she was promoted to senior associate athletic trainer and stayed in athletics until January 2023 when she took on the nursing department assistant role so she could spend more time with her young family.
Streisel appreciates that her role in the nursing department allows her to assist students and staff in problem-solving, task management, and support.
“I love supporting students through their college journey as their biggest fan and ‘campus mom,'” says Streisel. “My ‘adult children’ (students) make my day each time they visit me, share stories, or just say hello! I am a lifelong LVC Dutchmen athletics fan!”
In her spare time, Streisel can be found keeping up with her three energetic children, doing yoga, rollerblading, reading, crocheting, running, hiking, and biking. A beach lover at heart, she also enjoys family vacations to the Outer Banks.
