Neurologic Physical Therapy

Dr. Robin Myers teaches graduate courses in neuromuscular and advanced neurologic physical therapy topics. She also contributes to a research-based capstone, a comprehensive physical therapy course, and prosthetics and orthotics.

Dr. Myers earned her Bachelor of Health Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida and her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston. She became board-certified in Neurology by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in 2000 and successfully recertified in 2010 and 2019.

Over the past 20 years, Dr. Myers has been appointed to over 15 boards, councils, and committees for the APTA and is completing a 4-year term on the American Board for Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education and a 2-year term as an APTA PA delegate for South Central Pennsylvania. She has numerous peer-reviewed presentations and publications related to neurologic physical therapy practice. Dr. Myers has practiced physical therapy for over 30 years and continues to work clinically as a neurologic specialist at the Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Neuroscience Institute.
