Colleen Cordial

Colleen Cordial grew up on a pheasant farm in Northwest New Jersey, excelling in business classes and earning a Secretarial Arts degree in the days of ‘typewriters and steno pads.’ She took a job with Park University and learned about the criminal justice system, squeezing in classes at night, during lunch, and on weekends. 

Realizing she had a passion for education, Colleen moved on to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where she spent 16 years while rising to Regional Budget Manager. She found LVC when considering moving closer to home. 

Colleen’s time at The Valley started as a Database Coordinator in 2013, then Advancement Researcher, and then Manager of Advancement Data Integrity in the Advancement Office. Always seeking a new challenge, she became the Registrar Services Manager in the Office of Graduate & Professional Studies before assuming her current role as Associate Registrar in February 2024. 

“I recognize that I am fortunate to work with colleagues, past and present, who are friends who share the same values of keeping our students at the heart of every decision,” noted Colleen. “However, my favorite day each year is Commencement. It’s such an emotional ceremony that culminates every moment of a student’s education and those who helped them achieve this milestone.” 

Colleen has many non-work hobbies and interests. 

“My husband, Bernie, and I like to unplug in the Finger Lakes, watching the sun rise and set on the lake. Since we are scattered across many states, time with our families is priceless, and summers are all about my garden! If you know me, you know how much I love to bake. If I’m not working, you can find me trying a new recipe or making everybody’s favorite chocolate chip cookies!”
