Alisa Grove ’08, M’11

When Alisa Grove first considered where to attend college, she wanted to be close to home but not TOO close. Turns out, enrolling an hour away at LVC as a Psychology major would positively change her career trajectory.  

Alisa, a student worker in the IT Department, was considering pursuing a Master’s in Applied Behavioral Analysis and working in human resources as graduation approached and the IT Secretary position opened. She decided to decline the graduate school offer and earn her MBA at the College and has remained since, being promoted to IT Assistant, IT Business Operations Manager, and now Assistant Director of IT Operations. 

“It’s the perfect place to work for so many reasons, including the friendly people and beautiful campus,” shared Alisa. “Plus, my job enables me to combine my passions for technology, helping people, budgeting, and organizing. We have the best students, and I love getting to see them grow and move on to do BIG things! 

Alisa relishes spending time on her small farm with her husband and their pets: eight cats, four dogs, and over 20 sheep. She also cooks, bakes, travels, crafts, reads, journals, and watches nostalgic movies and TV shows.
