The Players Club Steppers
Players Club was established by Edward L. Nelson and quickly rose to prominence, winning 20 out of 22 Live at the Apollo championships in just two years. During their rise, Players Club began community outreach aimed at supporting students and struggling teens. This outreach birthed their mission: Participate in the Lives Among Youth to Educate and Restore Society.
The Players Club Steppers were the first step team to perform on national platforms such as America’s Got Talent, World of Dance, the Soul Train Music Awards, Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign for Vogue Magazine, and NBA All-Star Weekend, among others. Originating from the Bronx, NYC, their performances highlight the art of step dance, using hands, feet, and body movements to create rhythm and sound.
