Art Therapy and Museum Studies

If you’d like to specialize your studies within the bachelor’s degree in Creative Arts, our concentrations in Art Therapy and Museum & Gallery Professions focus on equipping you with professional skills you can take into your career or on to graduate school.

The Art Therapy specialization provides educational opportunities for students to work with licensed art therapists at the Lebanon VA Medical Center and Wellspan. For Museum & Gallery Professions students, the Gallery Internship Program provides you with on-the-job experience of what goes into curating exhibits and running museums and galleries.

In Their Words

The Creative Arts program at LVC is incredibly flexible and customizable. This allows students like me to approach the curriculum their way, and explore classes that suit their interests directly.
Sophia Bunting ’25, Creative Arts major
The staff at LVC guided my personal and professional growth, offering invaluable hands-on experiences that helped further my career. Whether it was working on exhibits with Dr. McNulty, hanging student artwork around campus with Professor Pittari, or learning about art history with Dr. Taylor, I jumped at opportunities to learn more about the art world. Along with the continuous support of LVC faculty, these experiences remain with me as I continue to build a museum career!
