Professional Development and Visiting Students

Visiting students may request to register for courses using our Visiting Student/Professional Development Course Request.

Visiting students are not considered degree-seeking. A student intending to matriculate into a graduate degree or certificate program should apply to the program. If you begin as a visiting student and decide to matriculate into a program, you may not take more than one course in a certificate program or two courses in a degree program before applying to the program.

*Please allow 1–2 business days for processing registration requests. Registrations submitted through the web form will be processed in the order they are received. You will receive an email confirmation once your registration request has been processed.

We strongly encourage you to complete your requests and application at least two weeks before your desired start. If you are within two weeks of when you would like to begin the program, don’t hesitate to contact graduateadmission@lvc.edu for assistance, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
