Lebanon Valley College is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, 3624 Market St., 2nd Floor West, Philadelphia, Pa. 19104; telephone: 267-284-5000.

Lebanon Valley College is also approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Lebanon Valley College is on the approved list of the Regents of the State University of New York and of the American Association of University Women.

ACBSP MBA Accreditation

The MBA Program at Lebanon Valley College is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP is dedicated to improving the quality of business schools and programs around the world, and ultimately to improving the practice of business in every industry around the world. Member institutions adhere to the highest standards and focus on student learning outcomes, providing the kind of education that is relevant to the marketplace.

ACBSP recognizes teaching excellence and focuses on determining student learning outcomes and continuous program improvement. Our graduates are required to complete coursework in critical areas of business study, including Financial and Managerial Accounting, Marketing Management, Financial Concepts and Markets, Strategic Management, Leadership, Managerial Economics, Operations Management, Quantitative Analysis, and Decision Making, Information Technology, Organizational Behavior, and Human Resource Management.

Graduate Business Programs Mission and Goals

The mission of the graduate business program is to provide students with a balance of theory and application that prepares them to become influential and ethical leaders, who communicate effectively, critically evaluate their environment, analyze appropriate data, make informed decisions, and execute plans successfully in a global business environment.

Program Goals:

  1. Understand and apply the fundamental principles and skills of business, leadership, and organizational theory in a global environment (Knowledge/Application/ Global Awareness)
  2. Develop skills in making and implementing ethical decisions in leadership (Ethical Leadership)
  3. Understand and use effective written and oral forms of communication as well as team member dynamics (Communication Skills)
  4. Develop and apply quantitative analysis skills for decision making (Quantitative Analysis)
  5. Evaluate, synthesize, critically analyze, and communicate appropriate qualitative and quantitative data and resources  to make strategically aligned decisions in a dynamic and global environment (Critical and Strategic thinking)
