Prospective undergraduates: Participate in an on-campus or virtual visit opportunity by May 1, 2025, and you will receive a $1,000 annual grant as part of your LVC financial aid when you enroll for Fall 2025.

Academic Open House
Nov. 23 | 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Enjoy a campus tour, meet with faculty in your area of interest, and interact with current LVC students and staff. This Academic Department Open House provides a comprehensive visit experience for prospective students and their families. Optional: Bring along your unofficial transcript for a one-on-one session with an admission counselor for an early, unofficial read of your admission and merit scholarship.

Types of Undergraduate Admission Events

Monday–Friday at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m.

  • Tour campus with a student (1 hour)
  • See inside a residence hall, academic buildings, dining areas, and social spaces
  • Discuss the admission process with a counselor (45 min.)

Admission Early Reads will be offered during the 1 p.m. weekday tours throughout the fall. High school seniors can bring their unofficial transcripts to receive an early read and an estimation of their merit scholarship.

We are excited to welcome prospective transfer students to The Valley. Join us on campus to meet with an admissions counselor to discuss the transfer admissions process, transferring credit to LVC, and financial aid. Plus, you’ll take a tour of our beautiful campus!

Please email your unofficial college transcript(s) to hwhitman@lvc.edu after registering for your visit to receive a preliminary transfer evaluation.

Schedule a Group Visit

High school counselors and CBOs are welcome to request a group visit for their students to come to campus and explore The Valley. The visit will include a campus tour and information session with an admission representative.

Students on Campus

$4,000 Visit Incentive

Participate in an on-campus or virtual visit opportunity by May 1, 2025, and enroll as an undergraduate—you’ll receive a $1,000 annual grant as part of your LVC financial aid when you enroll for Fall 2025.

Visit Grant Criteria

Option 1: Register for and attend an in-person campus tour on or before May 1, 2025. This visit must be coordinated with the Office of Admission.

Option 2: Request and attend a virtual visit before May 1, 2025. Email admission@lvc.edu to schedule a day of your choice.

Option 3: Register for and attend an in-person or virtual high school visit before May 1, 2025. Check with your school counselor for details. If we are not visiting your school, you can request a virtual visit with our Admission Office.

Option 4: If you have previously visited LVC in-person or virtually (prior to August 2024) and coordinated the visit through Admission, you’ll automatically receive the incentive.
