Music

Whether your career goals are to conduct a symphony, compose an album, or become a musical theater star, LVC’s Bachelor of Arts in Music will help you strengthen your natural talent and achieve your ambitions.

Our music program is flexible and rigorous, allowing you to go deeper and focus your music development in one of the seven concentrations: composition, theory, sacred music, organ, instrumental, voice, piano, or jazz. You can also design your own concentration with the guidance of your music faculty designer. Need-based departmental scholarships are available.

Lebanon Valley College is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM), 11250 Roger Bacon Drive, Suite 21, Reston, VA 20190-5248; Telephone: 703-437-0700, info@arts-accredit.org

In Their Words

I have been involved with music for most of my life, so pursuing a Music degree at LVC just seemed right! I love how I can interact with music daily, surrounded by people who share my passion.
Jackie Wilson ’24, Music Major
As a music major at LVC, I explored a diverse array of course subjects, including choral conducting, music business, musical theater, and orchestration. This exploration allowed me to hone in on my specific interest in choral music, while also creating a well-rounded and enriching experience!
Ashlyn Frederick ’22, Graduate Student, University of Redlands
The B.A. in music has the flexibility for students to focus on the specific areas in which they are most interested and will give them an advantage as they move into their professional careers.
