Scholarships for Adults Returning for a Degree

Eligibility: 

  • Demonstrate financial need,
  • Be socially, physically, or economically disadvantaged adults, heads of households with small children, or displaced homemakers, and
  • Must be pursuing a career path of their choice that is designed to enhance their opportunities in continuing, or in some cases, returning to the workforce

Amount: Ranging from $2,000 to $10,000

Eligibility: Female students pursuing a degree in Accounting with preference being given to a woman returning to college from the workforce or after raising children

Amount: Varies by scholarship ($1,000 – $2,000)

Eligibility: Female students who have had at least 24 consecutive months as a nonstudent while being within 24 months of completing her degree

Amount: up to $4,000

Application Deadline: Application and required documents must be submitted at least 10 weeks prior to the start of the term (but no sooner than 4 months prior to the term)

Eligibility: A woman with primary financial responsibility for herself and her dependents, is attending an undergraduate degree program or a vocational skills training program and have financial need.
