Innovative Learning Space

The Jeanne and Edward H. Arnold Health Professions Pavilion offers flexible classroom space, observation rooms acoustically treated for sound, the Lewis Human Performance and Gross Anatomy labs, faculty offices that support collaboration with students, and new technologies that enhance teaching.

Hands-on Collaboration

Our students get hands-on experience with athletes and clients and benefit from strong relationships with local organizations like Lebanon YMCA, Penn State Health, WellSpan Health, Penn Medicine Lancaster, and Power Train Sports.

Study with Practicing Clinicians

Students in LVCs exercise science degree program explore how human performance affects exercise and learn how to promote a healthy, balanced lifestyle to the public—all with the mentorship of our faculty members, who are practicing clinicians.

In Their Words

My biggest takeaway from majoring in exercise science was the vast routes I could take with this major. Exercise science helped me learn the basis for sports performance and become a strength and conditioning coach. Learning about the body’s anatomy and movement patterns helped me succeed in real-world spaces.

The U.S. Department of Defense grant we are part of presents significant learning opportunities for LVC students to engage in cutting-edge, federally funded biomedical research and collaborate with experienced research scientists.
