Social Justice Lecture Series featuring Rev. Dr. Bernice King
Dr. Bernice A. King will join us on campus on September 15 as the fall kickoff to our Symposium on Inclusive Excellence and this year’s theme of Belonging. This event is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission.
Dr. King is a global thought leader, strategist, solutionist, orator, peace advocate, and CEO of the Martin Luther King Jr. Center For Nonviolent Social Change (The King Center), which was founded by her mother as the official living memorial to the life, work, and legacy of her father.
Her talk will occur in Frederic K. Miller Chapel from 6–7:30 p.m., including a Q&A period.
LVC students, faculty, staff, alumni, and trustees can register using the link sent via email. Registration will close Friday, Sept. 8.
