Dr. Treva Clark Named Fish Distinguished Chair
Dr. Treva Clark, chair of accounting, business, and economics; international business; and director of graduate programs in business, was named Eugene C. Fish Distinguished Chair of Business. Dr. David Setley, professor emeritus of business administration was the previous Fish Chair.
Clark joined the LVC faculty in 2010 with specializations in international business and marketing after a successful career in global business development in the computer/technology industry. In 2019, she became department chair and in 2021 she was promoted to director of graduate programs in business and was named the Eugene C. Fish Distinguished Chair of Business.
In addition to teaching numerous courses in business and international business, Clark has led the College’s study abroad programs in the Netherlands and Italy, mentors students through advising and internship supervision, and serves on LVC’s Strategic Planning Committee.
Clark received the Thomas Rhys Vickroy Distinguished Teaching Award, the highest honor awarded to an LVC faculty member, in 2016. She also represented her faculty colleagues on the College’s Board of Trustees from 2018 to 2021. In 2016, she developed and launched LVC’s first International Business Program, helping students become world-ready citizens.
Clark carries this dedication to her students throughout the globe as chair of the Mission and Faith in Action Committee at Grandview United Methodist Church in Lancaster. She has organized and led numerous service projects and trips in Lancaster, the U.S., and in Peru.
She earned her B.S. from York College of Pennsylvania, double majoring in psychology and marketing, and MBA from Loyola University Maryland in international business. Clark received her Ph.D. in international development and education from the University of Pittsburgh.
