LVC Music Department to Present “Tuck Everlasting”
Heading into the 2023–24 academic year, the Lebanon Valley College Musical Theatre Program will present “Tuck Everlasting” as its main production in April 2024 in Leedy Theatre.
Though the production is a requirement for Music Theatre minors, students across all majors are welcome to audition for the production. Students prepare for the performance as part of Musical Theatre Repertoire, a half-credit course that runs during the spring semester.
“Tuck Everlasting” will be the department’s second production and follows a sold-out run of “On The Town” at Hershey Area Playhouse in Spring 2023.
“‘On the Town’ was an amazing chance for me to grow as a performer and get a little bit of a taste of a professional production. I learned a lot about performing in a new space and how to work to multiple sides and make sure everyone was engaged,” said Carter Palmer ’26, a double major in Music Education and Music with a focus in vocal performance and a Music Theatre minor.
“LVC’s Music Theatre program has allowed me the opportunity to explore and grow both on and off the stage,” said Miguel Santiago ’24, an Audio and Music Production major. “From this I have been able to expand my experience and growth in technical theatre and find my passion for lighting design.”
