Benefits of Participation

Move in and get acclimated with the campus prior to the hustle and bustle of regular orientation.
Meet and interact with members of the LVC community such as faculty, administrators, and other LVC students.
Participate in events and activities that address topics and offer strategies for successful transition to college life (academic and co-curricular).
Become familiar with the resources available to you on campus and in the surrounding community that will assist you during your time at LVC.
Acclimate to the Annville and mid-state communities.

Establish a Community

With the Summer Enrichment Program, I enjoyed the week-long activities, both on and off campus. SEP was helpful in establishing a close-knit multicultural community in which I made many friends of different backgrounds and met amazing mentors! With SEP, you will belong, make life-long friendships, and be supported by various individuals in your transition to college.

Build Connections

I’m extremely grateful to have the opportunity to attend the SEP program. It allowed me to experience what is expected of an incoming resident student by learning about the different campus locations, hearing the stories from our mentors about their experiences, and attending various programs to put us in the college mindset. Most importantly, it allowed us to build connections before starting our first semester, which I see as an immense confidence boost.

Make Friends

SEP was a great program for minoritized students to learn about and become accustomed with the campus prior to Orientation. It was also wonderful to meet other minoritized individuals who are coming to LVC. Making friends and knowing that there is a community for you is one of the best feelings.
