Study Abroad

Study abroad programs allow LVC students to see the world, explore new cultures, and challenge themselves academically, professionally, and personally—all while earning credits. In addition to developing essential career and intercultural communication skills, students who study abroad are empowered to build a global professional network and to make an impact in local and global communities.

Dutchmen Serve

By providing a wide variety of hands-on service, unique experiential learning, and awareness-raising opportunities, the Office of Service and Community Engagement strives to prepare students for a life of informed and engaged citizenship both locally and around the globe. Each year, LVC students report more than 22,000 hours of service.

Student Research

At Lebanon Valley College, we celebrate collaborative research and creative achievement. Students from every discipline are encouraged to participate in research that interests them starting in their undergraduate years; for many students, this leads directly to graduate opportunities or jobs post-graduation.

Internships & Career Support

LVC’s high job placement isn’t an accident, and it’s not just our curriculum (though it’s that, too). Most students at LVC hold internships during their time here, helping them develop on-the-job skills, make industry connections, and gain insight into what professions they want to pursue.

Graduate & Professional Studies

If your student is interested in pursuing graduate school, encourage them to research different programs and talk to their academic advisor. LVC offers 11 graduate degrees and 12 graduate certificates, which are available online, in-person, and hybrid.
