Adena Scott taught elementary school in the inner city and worked in autistic support after graduating from LVC with an Elementary Education Degree. She earned her Master’s in Education from Gratz College in 2013. Interested in working in a college environment, she returned to her undergraduate alma mater in 2023 to work in the Languages Department. Adena became the Registrar’s Office Services Coordinator in 2024.
Adena enjoys many things about working at LVC, especially her co-workers in the Registrar’s Office. She also appreciates the staff and students who create a pleasant and professional work environment, the beautiful campus, and how LVC’s small community gives her an experience you don’t get on most campuses or workplaces.
Regarding the College’s embracing community, Adena noted that she is inspired by how the professors, staff, and students passionately work together to provide the best education possible for all students.
Adena has several hobbies, including reading, yoga, hiking, home projects, and spending time with her husband, Mike, also an LVC graduate, and their son, two daughters, cat, and Holland Lop rabbit.
