Sam Klopp

After beginning her career in veterinary medicine, Sam’s fond memories of a close-knit college community brought her to LVC in 2019. While originally seeking a change of pace, she quickly developed a passion for higher education, which was fostered by her dual role in Facilities Services and campus events. This enthusiasm led her to accept a larger role in campus events in the fall of 2021, and it continues to motivate her to find new ways to better support The Valley.

Having learned much from her own college experience, both inside and outside of the classroom, Sam has a deep appreciation for LVC’s focus on the many aspects of student development and the opportunities and resources available for support and personal growth. She is also fond of LVC’s commitment to fostering an environment that supports a productive college experience, and she enjoys working behind the scenes as part of a dedicated team to contribute to this goal. In addition to her regular interactions with the campus community through event scheduling, she is eager to serve as a Dutchman First Mentor and encourage others to pursue their passions, just as others did for her as a student.

When Sam’s not on campus, you might catch her at a local living history event where she volunteers as a civilian reenactor from the World War II era. In her free time, she also enjoys hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, drawing, reading the latest webcomics and Preston & Child novels, and going on new adventures both in and out of state with her fiancée, family, and friends.
