M.S. in Clinical Exercise Physiology Program Goals & Objectives
Program Goal 1: Graduates will demonstrate broad-based skills and knowledge necessary to effectively conduct clinical rehabilitation assessment.
- Graduates will demonstrate broad-based skills and knowledge necessary for effective implementation of clinical rehabilitation principles.
- Graduates will demonstrate safe and effective exercise administration.
- Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of foundational exercise science principles.
Program Goal 2: Graduates will effectively communicate in a professional manner with peers, clients, and other healthcare professionals
- Graduates will demonstrate competent verbal and written professional communication
- Graduates will demonstrate effective coaching/instruction techniques to facilitate adherence to a personalized exercise prescription
Program Goal 3: Graduates will demonstrate skills needed to perform evidence-based research.
- Graduates will demonstrate the ability to critically appraise current evidence in exercise science.
