Learn More About the Online M.ED.
Lebanon Valley College has a long history of excellence in training educators, innovators, and administrators. Education was one of the first academic programs offered at LVC, and our dedicated alumni teach and lead in many school districts in our region.
Our online Master of Education program allows you to design a degree that meets your unique needs. The M.Ed. requires:
- Two core courses
- Two certificates
- A culminating project
The master’s in education program strengthens your teaching skills and opens doors to additional career opportunities. Our online M.Ed. courses can be applied toward the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s instructional level II certification and ACT 48 continuing education credits.
Many of our certificates meet PDE endorsement guidelines, allowing you to specialize, stay current in education trends, and reach your career goals. You may be eligible to earn your PDE endorsement with the following certificates: Integrative STEM Education; Online Teaching and Learning; Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Wellness.
2 Core Courses + 2 Certificates + 1 Culminating Project = Master of Education
For the Master of Education degree, you will complete two 12-credit certificates. You can customize your program of study with any of our education M.Ed. certificates:
