Service-Focused Organizations
Alpha Phi Omega
Alpha Phi Omega, Nu Delta chapter, is a national co-ed service fraternity that has promoted brotherhood through the principles of leadership, friendship, and service since the fraternity’s founding in 1925 and here at LVC since this chapter’s establishment in 1960. Involved in numerous service and social opportunities, the fraternity is open to all male and female students interested in serving the campus, community, nation, and fraternity.
First Aid Club
The First Aid Club strives to encourage and facilitate conversations and activities that spread awareness of First Aid and its importance. This is achieved by fundraising, attending guest lectures, performing hands-on first aid skills for certifications, and more!
Gamma Sigma Sigma
Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority (founded in 1952) was the first national sorority to receive recognition by Lebanon Valley College in 1969 and is the longest standing sorority on campus. The sorority’s purpose is to assemble college and university students in the spirit of service to humanity and to develop friendships among students of all races and creeds. The members of Gamma Sig strive to promote service, friendship, and equality within the chapter, campus, and community by participating in many service projects every semester, promoting lifelong relationships with others, and keeping open hearts and minds with everyone. Gamma Sig is a diverse group of girls that happily accepts members of any background, and loves to expand their membership. Team FTK
Team FTK is a fundraising community directly united with Four Diamonds, an organization that covers 100 percent of all medical expenses related to pediatric cancer care not covered by insurance for eligible Four Diamonds children. LVC’s chapter hosts several fundraisers throughout the school year to assist the Four Diamonds mission. FTK stands for “For The Kids”; this phrase is used to emphasize the importance of the Four Diamonds community and its quest to conquer childhood cancer because the funds and awareness raised are For The Kids. “By joining Team FTK, you are joining Four Diamonds in our mission to help every child survive and thrive.”
