Elizabeth "Liz" Johns

Before joining LVC as an Administrative Assistant, Elizabeth “Liz” Johns also worked with students—but at a different age level—as a preschool teacher. After realizing she preferred being in the background instead of the classroom, Liz knew she wanted to remain in education, so she gave LVC a try. Turns out, it was the perfect match.  

“My favorite thing about LVC is the sense of community,” noted Liz, who was promoted to Registration and Scheduling Specialist in early 2024. “Everyone is extremely welcoming and student focused. I gain profound satisfaction from creating schedules and running the registration processes to help our students succeed.” 

Liz is an integral part of The Valley community, coaching the LVC Cheerleading team and pursuing her Master’s in Education through the College’s prestigious program.  

When not helping students, Liz loves spending time with Bella, her golden retriever, gardening, and reading.
